Haven, the UK's leading holiday park operator, has unveiled Lost Lagoon Waterpark, a £12 million attraction at Kent Coast Holiday Park in Allhallows, Kent. The waterpark opens in July 2026, just in time for the school holidays, and is expected to draw local families and visitors from across the UK.
Key Features of the New Waterpark
The waterpark includes Atlantis Falls, a thrilling waterslide and wild river experience with a twisting flume around the building's exterior. Coral Bay offers an interactive aqua play area for younger children, while Tiddlers Tide Pool provides a confidence-building pool for young swimmers. A refurbished outdoor pool, Aqua Haven, features a new enclosure, and Allhallows Reef is an upgraded indoor swimming pool for family activities.
Investment and Economic Impact
This project is one of Haven's largest single-site investments, part of a wider £50 million programme at Kent Coast Holiday Park. Since 2021, Haven has invested over £700 million across its 39 parks nationwide. The park welcomed more than 98,000 guests in 2025 and employs over 400 team members during peak season, making it a significant employer in the Medway area.
Simon Palethorpe, CEO of Haven, said: "The Lost Lagoon Waterpark is a fantastic addition to Kent Coast and a great example of how we’re continuing to invest in the experiences that matter most to our guests. Whether it’s the excitement of the waterslides or families simply spending quality time together, it’s all about creating more memories that last a lifetime."
Opening Ceremony and Future Plans
TV actor and presenter Joe Swash opened the waterpark, joined by local government representatives, schoolchildren, and Haven team members. He described it as an "incredible pool complex."
Haven also plans to expand its partnership with Wetherspoon pubs. CEO Simon Palethorpe stated he hopes to open Wetherspoons at the majority of the 39 parks, with nine already operating. The first opened at Primrose Valley park near Filey, North Yorkshire, two years ago.
Haven operates 39 family holiday parks across England, Scotland, and Wales, popular during summer school holidays.
