Fast-growing estate agency Lomond has expanded its Liverpool operation again by acquiring City Residential. The deal follows its earlier acquisition of Homesure, which marked Lomond’s first move into the Liverpool market.
Homesure will take responsibility for the City Residential portfolio as Lomond builds its presence across the region. Alan Bevan founded City Residential in 2001, initially developing the business as a property development and consultancy firm before moving into residential sales and lettings. The agency has since established a significant presence in Liverpool city centre, with a focus on residential property.
Strengthening city centre position
The latest acquisition strengthens Lomond’s position in the city centre, while Homesure gives the group coverage across the wider Liverpool market.
Bevan said: “Over the past 25 years, our growth has been driven by our dedication to our clients and our deep knowledge of Liverpool City Centre. We are delighted to be passing the business on to Lomond – a company that shares our values, with the same commitment to client care, attention to detail and pride in what they do.”
Further growth targeted
Lomond chief revenue officer David Alexander confirmed that the group plans to continue its expansion. “We’re delighted to welcome City Residential into our growing network,” he said. “Their reputation and quality make them a perfect fit, with real synergy alongside Homesure’s strength outside the city centre. We are continuing our expansion across Liverpool and beyond and we’re always looking for market leading agents who are eager to grow, innovate and be part of our ambitious plans.”
