Knight Frank has received more than 170 enquiries from agents interested in its self-employed affiliate broker network. The property consultancy revealed the figure as it announced two more appointments to the model.
Jack McGovern and Caesar Matthias joined as affiliate brokers on 1 October. The model allows self-employed residential brokers to operate independently while working in partnership with Knight Frank. Brokers can win instructions, manage clients and build their own pipelines. Knight Frank provides operational and regulatory support.
Commission and referral fees
Agents earn commission on transactions. They can also earn referral fees by introducing clients to other services across the group. The model operates in territories alongside Knight Frank’s existing London offices.
Two more brokers join
McGovern will cover Blackheath and Greenwich. He will work closely with Knight Frank’s Canary Wharf office. He previously served as head of business development at Fine & Country. McGovern has also worked at Knight Frank’s Baker Street headquarters, specialising in new homes.
Matthias will cover Shepherd’s Bush and Brook Green, including Barons Court. He will work alongside the firm’s Chiswick, Notting Hill, Kensington and Fulham offices. Matthias has more than 40 years’ experience across London and the Home Counties. He has also held several senior agency roles.
Knight Frank targets further territories
Knight Frank is now seeking residential brokers for several more London and commuter markets. These include Muswell Hill and Crouch End, Barnes and Sheen, and Radlett and Hadley Wood. The firm said the locations form part of a wider expansion strategy targeting 36 markets.
Andrew Groocock, COO of estate agency at Knight Frank, said: “We are pleased to welcome Jack and Caesar to our growing affiliate broker network.
“Both bring longstanding experience in their respective markets, alongside the entrepreneurial mindset and relationship-led approach that sits at the heart of the affiliate model.”
He added: “Building on Knight Frank’s strong client base across these locations, I am confident that Jack and Caesar will further strengthen our local offering and enhance the service we provide to clients across these communities.”
