The National Lottery's new 'two chances to win' system continues tonight, Saturday, June 20, with a £6.4 million jackpot up for grabs in the Lotto draw. Players are automatically entered into two separate draws with every £2 ticket, doubling their chances of winning.
How the New System Works
In the first round, a set of 59 balls is used, with six main balls and one Bonus Ball drawn. Matching two or more numbers from your Lotto line wins a cash prize. The same process is repeated for a second draw using a different set of 59 balls, with players using the same line of numbers.
Matching six numbers in either draw secures a share of the £6.4 million jackpot. Matching five numbers plus the Bonus Ball wins £1 million, while matching five main numbers awards £1,000.
Draw Schedule and Updates
Both Lotto draws are scheduled for 8pm, followed by the Thunderball draw at 8:15pm. This is a live blog, and results will be posted as they become available.
