Strictly Come Dancing's week eight saw Coronation Street star Ellie Leach top the leaderboard with a near-perfect score of 39 out of 40 for her American Smooth. The competition is intensifying as the remaining contestants vie for a place in the next round.
Last week, soap star Adam Thomas was eliminated in the dance-off against 79-year-old Angela Rippon. This week, the celebrities will perform a variety of dances, including the Samba, Rumba, Waltz, Argentine Tango, American Smooth, Couple's Choice, and Paso Doble.
Ellie Leach and her partner will dance the Samba to Bamboleo by Gipsy Kings. Angela Rippon and Kai will perform a Paso Doble to Madonna's Hung Up, while Layton Williams will take on the Argentine Tango to Tattoo by Loreen.
Other performances include Annabel Croft and Johannes doing the Samba to Whenever, Wherever by Shakira, and Bobby and Dianne dancing the American Smooth to Ghost Of You by 5 Seconds Of Summer. The full scores will be revealed later tonight.
