Walk leaders needed for Lanarkshire health walk groups
Walk leaders needed for Lanarkshire health walk groups

Get Walking Lanarkshire is recruiting volunteer walk leaders to support friendly walking groups across Lanarkshire. The organisation is looking for people who enjoy walking and want to help others become more active.

Free training and no experience needed

Health walks are free, easy local walks that last no longer than an hour. No previous experience is required – only a friendly nature and the availability to lead a walk on a regular basis. Free training will be provided.

How to get involved

Those interested can email getwalkinglanarkshire@northlan.gov.uk or phone 07903 358424 for more details. Further information is available on South Lanarkshire Council's Get Walking Lanarkshire page, and the health walks programme can be found at www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/getwalking.
