Residents in several North East areas who play the national game have been lucky enough to win a £1,000 prize. The People's Postcode Lottery has announced winners from Morpeth, Seaham, and other locations across the region.
Winning Streets and Postcodes
Players living in nine North East streets, split across North Tyneside, Sunderland, Northumberland, County Durham, and Teesside, each won £1,000 last week. The winning areas were chosen between Saturday, June 13, and Friday, June 19, and include postcodes from across the region. The lucky winners will receive a welcome boost to their bank accounts, with residents in Wideopen, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, and Darlington also being successful.
How the Lottery Works
The People's Postcode Lottery raises money for charity through its subscriptions. It unveils daily prizes for postcodes across the country, and a minimum of 33% from each ticket sold goes to charity.
