The underground changing room will remain, but she is adding a new glass door to the sauna, new basement steps, converting a family bathroom into an en-suite bedroom, and demolishing a kitchen wall and a playroom built a decade ago. Two rotting second-floor windows are also being replaced.

Winslet previously constructed a 500-foot sea wall to protect the property, purchased for £3.25 million in 2013, from high-tide flooding.
