Sushi Recalled Over Incorrect Use By Date Labelling

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a product recall for two sushi snacks sold in UK shops due to incorrect use-by dates. The recall, announced on Friday, February 6, involves products from Japanese wholesaler Tanpopo.

The affected items are the Tanpopo Surimi & Avocado Roll and the Tanpopo Chicken Katsu Roll. The FSA stated that the products have been labelled with incorrect use-by dates, making them unsafe to consume.

Customers are advised not to eat the recalled sushi and to return it to the store for a full refund, with or without a receipt. Point of sale notices will be displayed in retail stores selling these products.
