Marks & Spencer has introduced a new range of indulgent desserts, including cookie cups and loaded doughnuts, that are already generating buzz among shoppers. The retailer, known for its premium-quality foods, has expanded its sweet treats selection with four cookie cup flavours and three doughnut varieties.
The new cookie cups are described as biscuits moulded into miniature pie crusts with assorted fillings. Flavours include Pistachio Big Daddy, featuring a chocolate chip base with white chocolate cheesecake, pistachio crème, salted caramel sauce, and pistachio pieces; Birthday Cake, with a white chocolate chip cookie filled with white chocolate cheesecake and strawberry jam, topped with white chocolate chunks, vanilla sponge, and sprinkles; and an Extremely Chocolatey option already in the range.
The 'Dunked N' Loaded' doughnuts come in Lemon Meringue, filled with lemon curd crème and glazed with white chocolate and lemon; Strawberry and Cream, filled with strawberry crème and glazed with white chocolate and strawberry, topped with strawberry sugar pieces; and Custard Cream, filled with custard cream biscuit crème and glazed with milk chocolate, topped with biscuit crumb.
Social media account 'New Food Spotter UK' shared images of the new products, prompting excited reactions from shoppers. Comments included 'I need!!!' and 'Look at that birthday cake cookie cup.' The doughnuts are priced at £2 each or £6 for a pack of four, while cookie cups cost £3 each.
