Tromso Boss: Hjerto-Dahl Can Leave for Right Price

Tromso head coach Jorgen Vik has admitted that Jens Hjerto-Dahl will be allowed to leave the club for the right price, as Rangers continue their pursuit of the 20-year-old midfielder. The Norwegian club rejected a £5.3 million offer from the Light Blues earlier this week and are holding firm on their £7.5 million valuation.

Player's Stance and Interest

Hjerto-Dahl has previously stated that a move to Ibrox is "tempting," and he reportedly turned down the chance to join Turkish giants Besiktas in January. Rangers have been long-term admirers of the player, who has impressed in the Eliteserien.

Vik's Comments on Transfers

Speaking to I Tromso ahead of Saturday's league clash with Valerenga, Vik said: "In every club, players have their price. I'm very happy that they're with us tomorrow, and I definitely plan to have them with us going forward. We'll see." He also addressed interest in another Tromso star, Tobias Guddal, who is attracting attention from Ligue 1 side Toulouse, now managed by former Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou.

Rangers' Other Targets

Rangers continue to be linked with Cammy Devlin, who has left Hearts after his contract expired. The Australia international is a free agent and, along with Rangers, has interest from MLS duo Seattle Sounders and Chicago Fire. Derek McInnes has made four signings since succeeding Danny Rohl at Ibrox, including the capture of former Hearts captain Lawrence Shankland.
