The Belgian midfielder signed a five-year contract at Old Trafford, bringing Premier League experience from 244 appearances. The deal represents a substantial profit for Aston Villa, who had signed Tielemans on a free transfer from Leicester City. Tielemans joins United's midfield overhaul alongside Andrey Santos from Chelsea, prompting the club to pull out of a proposed deal for Atalanta's Ederson.
Despite his eagerness to join United, Tielemans insisted on proper negotiations.
