Hajduk Split are the latest club to express an interest in Aberdeen winger Topi Keskinen, as the Finnish international attracts growing attention ahead of the summer transfer window. The Croatian side has made contact with the player's representatives to declare their interest, joining a list of suitors that includes Debrecen and Odense.
Asking Price Set by Aberdeen
Aberdeen paid HJK around £850,000 to sign Keskinen, and any bid would need to exceed that amount for the Dons to consider selling. The club has already turned down numerous offers from Hungarian side Debrecen because they fell below their valuation. Odense remain keen and are monitoring the situation closely.
According to a source close to the negotiations, Aberdeen are holding out for a fee that reflects Keskinen's value as one of their most valuable assets. The 23-year-old, who has 13 caps for Finland, is flagged in analytics as one of the fastest wide men in the Scottish Premiership.
Interest from Croatia and Beyond
Hajduk Split, where Aberdeen teammate Ante Palaversa previously played, are expected to firm up their interest with a formal bid. The Croatian club has a history of signing talent from northern Europe and sees Keskinen as a potential addition to their squad.
Debrecen has already had multiple bids rejected, but they remain in the race alongside Odense. The Danish side is also watching developments with great interest, suggesting a competitive transfer battle ahead.
Other Potential Outgoings at Pittodrie
Left-back Mitchel Frame is in a similar situation, with his representatives having received contact from BK Hacken and Rakow Czestochowa. Aberdeen are also looking to sign another left-back, with Record Sport exclusively revealing that Nesta Guinness-Walker is set to join the Dons as a free agent after leaving Northampton Town. He will provide competition to Frame and Emi Gyamfi.
Further outgoings are expected at Pittodrie. Alexander Jensen signed for Elfsborg earlier this week, while Nicolas Milanovic is set to return to Western Sydney Wanderers and Marko Lazetic to FC Noah. Both moves are expected to generate six-figure fees for Aberdeen.
