Airsprung, a Wiltshire-based manufacturer of mattresses and beds for leading retailers, has gone into administration after 150 years of trading. The company explored various rescue options but ultimately had no choice but to appoint administrators. While 71 employees were made redundant, remaining staff are assisting with ongoing operations. The firm continues to trade for now.
Groupia Stag and Hen Party Organiser Stops Trading
Groupia, a stag and hen party organiser founded in 1999, has entered administration and stopped trading. New bookings are no longer accepted. The company confirmed that trips scheduled to depart on or before August 31 will be fulfilled, and refunds will be issued for arrangements from September 1 onwards.

The group, which includes Ardmore Hotels & Commercial, Ardmore Major Projects, Ardmore Fitout, Landmark Facades, and Ardmore Regeneration, employed around 77 people. The company attributed its difficulties to a partly finished timber-frame scheme that became far more expensive to complete than expected.

BMB Logistics, a UK-based food distribution firm headquartered in Tonbridge, Kent, has gone into administration after only three years of trading. The company specialized in temperature-sensitive goods and aimed to provide cost-effective, efficient services. The reason for the administration remains unclear.
