Celtic are set to open contract talks with Anthony Ralston to extend his stay at Parkhead. The 27-year-old right-back is entering the final year of his current deal, and the club wants to secure his future.
Ralston's Role and Achievements
Ralston has been an integral part of the squad, providing stiff competition for Alistair Johnston at right-back. He was also part of Steve Clarke's Scotland squad for the World Cup, making his tournament debut as a substitute in the defeat to Morocco. The defender came through Celtic's youth ranks and has been part of eight league titles, four Scottish Cup wins, and four League Cup triumphs.

Celtic recently handed a new one-year deal to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who signed a short-term contract in February. Manager Martin O'Neill wanted him on a longer arrangement for the new season. Last season, the club also extended deals for Luke McCowan and Liam Scales.
