PlayStation Plus subscribers have just weeks left to play a dozen games before they leave the service in July. The titles include an underrated psychological thriller and two popular roguelikes.
Games Leaving PS Plus in July
PlayStation fans have been warned about 12 games leaving the platform's subscription service. Gamers have 30 days to try these titles before they are removed. While June saw the departure of Red Dead Redemption, the next wave focuses on hidden gems. The PS Plus app's Last Chance to Play section lists all 12 games, reminding subscribers that time is running out to complete trophies. Unlike PS Plus Essential games, once these Extra titles leave the catalogue, players must purchase them to continue playing.
Get Even: An Underrated Thriller
Few of the games leaving in July are commercial heavy hitters, but one psychological thriller is worth trying. Get Even is a dark, mind-bending PS4 game described as underrated by critics. Players control Cole Black, who investigates an abandoned insane asylum under the orders of a mysterious character named Red. Released in 2017, it combines shooter, action, and puzzle elements. With a playtime under 10 hours, it is easily beatable before removal.
Roguelikes: Risk of Rain 2 and Source of Madness
Two roguelikes on the list are fan favorites. Risk of Rain 2 is a critically acclaimed third-person shooter where players crash-land on a hostile alien planet and race to escape. It features an addictive co-op mode. Source of Madness is a side-scrolling dark action RPG set in a Lovecraftian world.
Other Notable Titles
Simulation fans should try Tropico 6, where players build a Caribbean island nation as El Presidente. Gamers also recommend Cursed to Golf and Roki.
