Lidl is launching the Lupilu Kids' Snow Jacket across more than 1,000 UK stores on Thursday, November 12, priced at £9.99. The jacket will be available in the middle aisle with nine different designs to choose from.
Shoppers can select from Model 4, La Dolce Vita, Lilac/Navy Colour Black, AOP 1, AOP 2, Avengers, Black Low Cut, Red and Blue, as well as Light Blue. The jacket features a snug hood to help shield against the rain and a fashionable colour scheme aimed at younger wearers.

The item is exclusively available for in-store collection. Customers can check stock levels at their nearest Lidl on launch day and beyond through the online store finder.
The jacket is being compared to the MONSOON Water Resistant Colourblock Rain Jacket at Argos, which is priced at £38 and suitable for children aged between two and 13. The product description reads: "Right as rain. Designed in a beige, yellow, blue and teal colour combo, this rain jacket features a peaked hood, dual zip and button fastenings and two super sized patch pockets. Thanks to its water resistant finish, it's ready for every adventure - rain or shine."
Unlike the Lidl equivalent, the Argos jacket can be delivered directly to a customer's doorstep. Argos home delivery charges start at £3.95 for standard items and can rise to £29.95 or more for larger, next-day items, depending on the size, speed, and time slot selected.
Premium alternative at Petit Bateau
For those seeking a more premium option, Petit Bateau is stocking the Children's Jacket in Plain Colourblock Sherpa at £84 - nearly nine times the price of Lidl's version. It features a less waterproof design, however, owing to its fluffier and more comfort-orientated material.
