GTA 6 Trailer Hint Spotted in GTA Online as Release Nears
GTA 6 Trailer Hint Spotted in GTA Online

With less than four months to go until GTA 6 launches on November 19, fans are scouring GTA Online for clues about the upcoming game. A Reddit user has pointed out a piece of in-game art that they believe hints at the GTA 6 map.

Painting Sparks Speculation

The painting, which can be added to apartments in GTA Online, shows a green mass surrounded by grey and blue lines. The player argues that when viewed from a distance, it resembles the outline of a map. Some community members agree, with one comment suggesting that rotating and mirroring the image reveals a shape similar to the GTA 6 mapping project's findings.

Another commenter claimed, "100% has to be. They said their marketing is going to be creative. This is proof right here."

Community Mapping Efforts

Since Rockstar has not released official GTA 6 map materials, fans have created the GTA Mapping Project. This initiative analyzes trailers and screenshots to piece together a rough map, published on a website called 'State of Leonida'. The painting in question does bear some resemblance to these fan-made maps when flipped upside down.

Unlikely Connection

However, the painting was added to GTA Online in 2015 as part of the Eclipse Towers Penthouse Suite, years before GTA 6 development reportedly began around 2020. While some early ideas may have existed, it's unlikely the full map was planned that far in advance.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick previously promised marketing for GTA 6 would ramp up 'this summer', but no specific dates were given. Fans are eagerly awaiting a new trailer, hoping it drops soon.
