EasyJet Reveals Cheapest Days and Months to Book Flights
EasyJet Shares Cheapest Days and Months for Flight Deals

Travel experts suggest that being flexible and choosing midweek travel instead of peak periods can often help you find lower flight prices. According to easyJet, the cheapest days to fly are typically Wednesdays and Thursdays, rather than Fridays. The airline also recommends considering the start and end of the year for bargain hunters, with January and February being cheapest for warm-weather destinations, and November or March for winter sports trips.

Best Days to Book Cheap Flights

EasyJet states: "The cheapest day of the week to fly can vary depending on the destination, flights available, and time of year. However, we'd recommend being flexible with your dates and considering flying outside of peak weekend flight times. By booking to fly on Wednesday or Thursday rather than Friday, you can find bargain flights (and get more time at your destination!)."

Cheapest Months for Travel

The budget airline adds: "For traditional warm-weather destinations in Spain or Italy, you can often find the cheapest plane tickets in the winter months of January and February. If you're booking a trip to the mountains or traditional winter destinations like Finland, you'll often find cheaper flights in November or March."

EasyJet operates a fleet of 355 aircraft, connecting 164 airports in 38 countries through 1,207 routes. While booking during recommended days and months does not guarantee the lowest fares, it can significantly improve your chances. The airline urges passengers to use its Low Fare Finder tool to secure the best deals.

Passport Rule Warning

In other easyJet news, a mother was prevented from boarding an easyJet flight with her family and lost £700 due to an important passport rule. Bolaji Omisade was excited for a family holiday to Greece and arrived at London Gatwick Airport with her husband and three sons. But when they checked in, easyJet staff told her she could not board the flight because her passport, although not expired, was no longer valid for travel under passport regulations. Travellers are advised to check passport validity rules before flying.
