The All-England Club has unveiled the initial wildcard allocations for the 2026 Wimbledon Championships, with a strong contingent of British players set to feature in the singles main draw, qualifying, doubles, and wheelchair events.
Men's Singles Main Draw Wildcards
Arthur Fery, Toby Samuel, Jack Pinnington Jones, and Jacob Fearnley have been awarded wildcards into the men's singles main draw. Fery and Pinnington Jones secured their first Grand Slam main draw victories at Wimbledon last year and have since enjoyed successful campaigns, including a maiden ATP Challenger title for Pinnington Jones and a second-round Australian Open appearance for Fery.
Women's Singles Main Draw Wildcards
Six British women have received wildcards for the singles main draw: Harriet Dart, Alicia Dudeney, Katie Swan, Mika Stojsavljevic, Mimi Xu, and Hannah Klugman. They join Emma Raducanu, Katie Boulter, and Francesca Jones, who already secured direct entry. The wildcard recipients have impressed this season, with Katie Swan winning back-to-back titles in Japan and Alicia Dudeney claiming four ITF singles titles.
Qualifying and Doubles Wildcards
In men's singles qualifying, 2023 Wimbledon Boys' Singles champion Henry Searle, Oliver Tarvet, and Johannus Monday have been awarded wildcards. The men's doubles wildcards feature all-British pairs: Ben Jones and Joshua Paris, David Stevenson and Marcus Willis, Dan Evans and Henry Searle, and Johannus Monday and Harry Wendelken.
Women's doubles wildcards include Olivia Nicholls, Katie Boulter and Heather Watson, Madeleine Brooks and Amelia Rajecki, Jodie Burrage and Mika Stojsavljevic, Freya Christie and Eden Silva, Harriet Dart and Maia Lumsden, and Alicia Dudeney and Mimi Xu.
Wheelchair Events
Wildcards have also been awarded for wheelchair competitions: Ben Bartram and Andrew Penney in the men's event, Lucy Shuker in the women's (with one further wildcard to be confirmed), and Greg Slade in the quad division.
