Amazon has announced its third sale of the year: Prime Big Deals Day 2026. The autumn event, which kicks off on 6th October, runs for 48 hours and offers deals across beauty, tech, appliances and books exclusively for Prime members.
According to Daisy Lester, Shopping Editor at The Standard, who has covered Amazon's sales for six years, the event is second only to Black Friday for covetable offers. Shoppers can expect generous savings on items like the Dyson Airwrap, Apple AirPods, and Kindle e-readers.
When is Amazon Prime Big Deals Day?
The Amazon Prime Big Deals Day officially starts on 6th October and concludes at midnight on 7th October. Only Prime members can shop the two days of exclusive deals across more than 35 categories.
Previous sales have delivered some of the year's strongest savings on big brand names such as Oura and Sony, alongside discounts on Amazon's own products, Ring video doorbells, dehumidifiers and mascaras.
What deals can we expect?
Big-ticket products such as the Dyson Airwrap, Apple AirPods, Oura Ring and Ninja air fryers are expected to be included in the sale, along with beauty favourites from CeraVe, Color Wow and Garnier, appliances from Shark and Philips, and toys from Lego and Tonies.
Early deals already available include the Dyson Airwrap i.d at £399 (was £479), the Amazon Kindle newest gen at £94 (was £134.99), and the Ring Video Doorbell Plus at £59 (was £129.99).
Best early Amazon Prime Day deals
The Dyson Airwrap i.d has been treated to a rare £80 price cut. The AI-powered hair tool works with the brand's Bluetooth app to adjust heat and airflow, helping users achieve curls or a bouncy blow-dry.
The newest gen Kindle, currently reduced by 30 per cent, boasts a glare-free display, fast page turns and a compact size. Kindle books are often far cheaper than physical titles, with the latest novels costing as little as 99p.
The Oura Ring 4 has been heavily discounted ahead of Prime Day. "Of all the wearable tech I've tried this year, the Oura Ring is the one I've found most useful—and the only one I've continued to wear," said Saskia from Standard Shopping. "It tracks my immune function, resilience to stress, and, most importantly, reminds me when it's time to prioritise sleep." The black colourway costs £244 right now, with a 30 per cent discount.
Other deals include the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer at £164 (was £199), the Garmin Venu 3 smartwatch at £264.99 (was £379.99), and the Lego Speed Champions Ferrari at £15 (was £22).
The Whispering Angel Côtes de Provence rosé is on sale at £20 (was £22), with the quote from Adele: "Whispering Angel turned me into a barking dog. It did not make me whisper."

The Ninja Creami ice cream maker is reduced from £249 to £169, and the Lego Technic Porsche race car toy is £114.99 (was £149.99). The Nespresso Creatista coffee machine is £384 (was £499), and the Shark PowerPro cordless vacuum is £219 (was £269).
Amazon's Fire TV Stick Max is reduced by 33 per cent to £69, and the Amazon Echo Dot (newest gen) is £54 (was £79). The De'Longhi La Specialista Arte Barista bean to cup espresso machine is £385 (was £529.99), and Medicube's PDRN pink collagen jelly masks are £9.39 (was £16). The St.Tropez express mousse is £16 (was £33), with 60 per cent off.
As the sale progresses, additional deals have been spotted, including the Oura Ring 4 at its lowest ever price of £199 (was £349), Apple AirPods 4 at £79 (was £119), and the Ring Video Doorbell at £39.99 (was £79.99). The Nespresso Vertuo Next capsule coffee machine is £59 (was £148.99), saving 60 per cent.
