Rangers will receive just over 1,000 tickets for their Europa League qualifying trip to face Jagiellonia Bialystok – and those making the trip face a nightmare journey with the club putting on no official travel option.
The Ibrox side take on the Polish side in the first leg of their third qualifying round clash on August 6 and despite being in central Europe, it's an awkward venue to get to.
Paltry Allocation and Travel Woes
The club's SLO has announced they will receive just 1,027 tickets – the normal away allocation at Stadion Miejski where Jagiellonia play their home games – and it's going to be a difficult trip for the punters lucky enough to get their hands on a brief.
Supporters cannot fly directly into Bialystok, with the nearest airports placed 200km (124 miles) away in Warsaw. It's been made even more awkward with the club also announcing there will be no travel put on for fans by the club.
It means supporters will have to organise flights themselves then make their own way across Poland.
Fixture Details Still Uncertain
The first leg is scheduled to take place on Thursday August 6 with kickoff times to be announced, although the club previously warned dates are subject to change and fans shouldn't make travel arrangements until further details are announced. It could yet be that the date is moved for TV.
The latest statement from Rangers' SLO reads: "Further to the below, we can confirm that there will be no official club travel option for this round. We have also been advised that the away section has a capacity of up to 1,027 supporters, subject to final confirmation. Fixture dates remain subject to change and will be confirmed as soon as we can."
