The Woodmans Arms in Whickham has transformed its outdoor terrace with an Amalfi Coast theme, offering visitors a taste of Italy without leaving the North East.
Terrace Makeover
The pub, located on Fellside Road, revealed the new look on Facebook, describing it as a 'summer glow-up' inspired by the lemon groves of the Amalfi Coast. The space features lemon trees, cosy alfresco seating, and is designed for enjoying sunshine, cocktails, and delicious food.
Village Recognition
Whickham was recently named the North East's 'best place' to live in a list compiled by Garrington, finishing nine places higher than last year's champion, Alnwick.
The pub is known for its elaborate seasonal transformations, having previously themed its interior for Christmas with inspirations like The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe and The Polar Express.
