More than 80,000 tickets were sold across two days for the Super League Magic Weekend 2026, held at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool. The event featured six fixtures, bringing together fierce local rivals and thousands of supporters for a weekend of sport, music, and entertainment.
Return to Liverpool After Seven Years
The rugby league weekend returned to Liverpool for the first time since 2019, when it was hosted at Anfield. This year, the event took place at Everton’s ground, the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with three games played back-to-back on each day.
Sunday's Fixtures and Fan Atmosphere
Sunday's matches included Wakefield Trinity vs Castleford Tigers, Leeds Rhinos vs Bradford Bulls, and the curtain raiser: Wigan Warriors vs St Helens. Regent Road was filled with fans in gold, black, red, and blue rugby shirts, with the Liverpool ECHO reporting high spirits among supporters. Extra Merseyrail services were provided on Sunday to help fans travel to and from the stadium.
