Top Nominees: Drama and Comedy Series
'The Crown' received 24 nominations, the most of any series, including Outstanding Drama Series and acting nods for Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, and Elizabeth Debicki. 'Succession' followed with 22 nominations, including Best Drama Series and multiple acting nominations for its ensemble cast. In the comedy categories, 'Abbott Elementary' led with 15 nominations, while 'The Bear' earned 13.
Outstanding Limited Series and TV Movie
The limited series category features 'Dopesick,' 'Maid,' 'The White Lotus,' 'The Underground Railroad,' and 'Mare of Easttown.' 'Dopesick' leads with 12 nominations. For TV movies, 'Oslo,' 'The Survivor,' 'The Tragedy of Macbeth,' 'Ray Donovan: The Movie,' and 'Hamilton' are in contention.
Notable Snubs and Surprises
Despite critical acclaim, 'Yellowjackets' and 'Severance' received fewer nominations than expected. 'Squid Game' made history as the first non-English-language series to be nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, earning 10 nods overall. The category for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series includes Zendaya ('Euphoria'), Laura Linney ('Ozark'), and Jodie Comer ('Killing Eve').
