Caitlin Clark scored a career-high 45 points and added 10 assists, recording the first 40-10 game in WNBA history, as the Indiana Fever defeated the Seattle Storm 110-107 on Friday night. Clark also had four steals and two blocks in the historic performance.
Historic Milestones and Franchise Record
Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 200 career three-pointers, achieving the mark in just 74 games. The previous record of 81 games was held by Katie Smith. Additionally, Clark's 45 points set a new franchise record for the Fever, surpassing the previous high.

Kelsey Mitchell contributed 30 points for Indiana (15-10), while Monique Billings added 16 points. For Seattle (6-21), Dominique Malonga posted 28 points and 14 rebounds, but the Storm lost their fourth straight game. In a critical defensive play with 54.9 seconds remaining, Clark hustled back to block a fast-break layup attempt by Johnson, knocking the ball off Johnson and out of bounds. Clark then hit a three-pointer from the left wing to extend the Fever's lead to 105-102. She made all four of her free throws in the final 17 seconds to secure the victory.
Clark sparked a 12-4 run in the second quarter, scoring 10 points and capping the spurt with a three-pointer that gave Indiana a 49-32 lead with 7:28 left before halftime. The Fever tied their highest-scoring first quarter of the season, taking a 37-26 lead after one period. Mitchell scored 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the first half, while Clark added five points, five assists, and two steals.
Injury and Previous Meeting
Aliyah Boston did not play for Indiana due to a leg injury on the first night of a back-to-back. The Fever previously defeated the Storm 89-78 at home on May 17.
