Arthur Fery produced a stunning performance to defeat Flavio Cobolli 6-2, 6-4, 6-3 and book his place in the Wimbledon semi-finals. The British wildcard, ranked 145th in the world, outclassed the Italian 15th seed in just over two hours on Centre Court.

Fery, 22, broke Cobolli's serve five times and saved all three break points he faced. He fired 12 aces and won 84% of points on his first serve, leaving the Italian with no answers. The victory makes Fery the first unseeded British man to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals since Tim Henman in 2002.
A Fairytale Run
Fery's run to the last four has been remarkable. He entered the tournament as a wildcard and had never won a Grand Slam match before this year. He has now beaten three seeded players, including world No. 8 Andrey Rublev in the fourth round. "I'm lost for words," Fery said after the match. "This is a dream come true. The crowd has been incredible, and I'm just enjoying every moment."
What's Next for Fery
Fery will face either Novak Djokovic or Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals. Regardless of the opponent, he will be the underdog. But his coach, Mark Taylor, believes he has the game to compete. "Arthur has shown he belongs at this level. He's playing with freedom and confidence, and we believe he can go all the way," Taylor said.
Fery's success has captivated the British public, with ticket sales for his semi-final soaring. The All England Club confirmed that an extra 2,000 tickets were released for the match, selling out within minutes.
