Adele made a surprise appearance at the United States Grand Prix over the weekend, joining Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 drivers Andrea Kimi Antonelli and George Russell in the team's garage. The 37-year-old singer posed for photos with the drivers ahead of race day, dressed in a chic all-black ensemble with a relaxed button-down shirt and wide-leg trousers.
Her look was completed with soft waves, winged eyeliner, and a natural pink lip, accessorised only with a lanyard and pass. Russell and Antonelli wore official team kits in Mercedes' signature black and teal, with Russell pairing his jersey with light-wash jeans and white sneakers, while Antonelli opted for black joggers and Adidas trainers.
Adele's rare public outing comes after she ended her Las Vegas residency in November 2024. She admitted to fans that the demanding schedule left her 'run out of gas', explaining that performing four hours of live singing each weekend took a toll. 'I am battered after these shows,' she told the crowd, as reported by The Mirror.
The singer also shared that she rests for the remainder of the week when not performing, often going on vocal rest for a couple of days. 'I look like a truck has hit me,' she said, adding that sometimes she pretends to need the rest to avoid talking to anyone.
Adele, who has a 12-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki, is engaged to sports agent Rich Paul and is stepmother to his three children. Despite loving the shows, she expressed readiness for them to end, saying it was 'very bittersweet' but that she had been planning the residency for four years.
