Harry Kane Hints Tottenham Should Sell Him This Summer

Harry Kane has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy may be wise to sell him this summer, with the England captain valuing himself at around £100 million. In an interview with Gary Neville for The Overlap podcast, Kane indicated that his transfer value is at its peak and that he expects an honest conversation with the club about his future.

The 27-year-old striker, who has spent 16 years at Tottenham since joining as an 11-year-old, expressed his desire to play in the biggest games and win trophies. “I want to be playing in the biggest games, the biggest moments,” Kane said. “This season I’m watching the Champions League, the English teams in there doing amazing, and they are the games I want to be involved in.”

Kane, who is reportedly keen on a move to Manchester City, stressed that he does not want to be held against his will. “I hope we can have a good honest conversation and see where we’re at,” he said. “I’ve given the club 16 years of my life. I’m not afraid to say I want to be the best and win trophies season in, season out.”

While Kane stopped short of explicitly demanding a transfer, his comments are seen as the latest step in his exit strategy. He remains under contract with Tottenham for three more years, and chairman Daniel Levy is known to be reluctant to sell. The full interview is set to be released on Friday.
