Three-legged dog abandoned on streets now desperate for forever home
Three-legged dog abandoned on streets seeks forever home

Snowy, a five-year-old Maltese cross, was found alone on the streets of Cairo, Egypt, after surviving for at least three months. He was fighting a life-threatening infection and running a high fever. His white coat was so matted it had to be shaved off, and the infection in his front leg was severe.

Amputation saves his life

Despite veterinary efforts, the infection required amputation of his front left leg. Snowy adapted remarkably, learning to walk, run, and even jump on three legs. His coat has grown back, and he has regained his strength.

Loving personality

Rescuers describe Snowy as affectionate, gentle, and friendly. He loves cuddles, gets along with other dogs, and has done "very well" around children. He has not lost faith in people despite his ordeal.

Seeking a forever home

Snowy is neutered, weighs about 6kg, and is available for adoption. Travel to the UK costs approximately £600. Miracle's Mission, founded in 2015, aims to provide safety for animals in danger and promote neutering. Interested adopters can contact the rescue directly.
