Chelsea's summer signing Alejandro Garnacho faces an unexpected challenge to his first-team position, with reports emerging that the Blues are considering a move for his former Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford. The 21-year-old Argentine has only recently established himself in Enzo Maresca's starting lineup, making this potential reunion particularly concerning for his prospects.
The Rashford Renaissance in Barcelona
Marcus Rashford has experienced a remarkable career revival since his loan move to Barcelona, contributing to 15 goals in just 16 appearances under manager Hansi Flick. The 28-year-old England international has registered six goals and nine assists, putting him on track for his best scoring season since netting 30 times during the 2022/23 campaign under Erik ten Hag.
Rashford's brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard, has reportedly held talks with Chelsea officials in London, according to Spanish publication El Nacional.
