Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, the Egyptian winger confirmed on Tuesday evening, ending his nine-year stint at Anfield. The club and player have agreed to part ways on a free transfer, saving Liverpool his reported £400,000-a-week wages.
Bookmakers have installed a move to Saudi Arabia as the most likely next destination, with odds of 13/10 for any Saudi Pro League club. William Hill's Lee Phelps said: 'From our point of view, a switch to Saudi Arabia is very much the likeliest outcome at even-money.'
However, Salah's representative Ramy Abbas stressed no deal is in place, posting: 'We do not know where Mohamed will play next season. This also means that no one else knows.' Other potential moves include Major League Soccer (15/8), Newcastle United (16/1), or European clubs like PSG and Barcelona (12/1).
Salah was previously the subject of a £105 million offer from Al Ittihad in 2023, which Liverpool rejected. He went on to help the club win the 2025 Premier League title.
