Television presenter Maya Jama took on the role of dedicated football fan this weekend, cheering on her boyfriend, Manchester City defender Ruben Dias, from the heart of the away supporters' section.
A Rousing Away Day Experience
The Love Island host, 31, was among the travelling Manchester City faithful at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon. She watched as Pep Guardiola's side secured a dramatic 2-1 victory, with a late winner from Rayan Cherki seven minutes from time.
Jama shared her experience with her 3.2 million Instagram followers, posting updates from the match. She wrote that it was a 'whole different experience being in the crowd at an away game', seemingly enjoying the novel, raucous atmosphere. She also shared a snap of the City players, including Dias, coming over to applaud their supporters at the final whistle.
House Hunting for a Dream Home
Off the pitch, the couple's relationship continues to go from strength to strength. Having recently marked their second Christmas together with loved-up social media posts, they are now reportedly looking to settle down.
The pair are said to be eyeing a stunning £4 million Omaze prize-draw mansion in the affluent Cheshire village of Alderley Edge. A source told The Sun that it was the third time they had viewed the ultra-modern, four-bedroom property, spending around two hours there on one occasion.
The 6,300 sq ft home boasts panoramic views, landscaped gardens and a luxury indoor leisure suite. It is reportedly available to rent for around £20,000 a month but is also on the market for sale.
A Relationship in the Spotlight
Jama and Dias, 28, are believed to have met at the European Music Awards in November last year and went public with their romance in April. Dias recently spoke about their relationship for the first time, acknowledging the publicity but stating it was the 'last thing you think about'.
He told The Telegraph: 'We are just both aware of it, and there's no way around it. You make it about everything else, and then that's an extra you have to deal with.' The source close to the couple's house hunt added that they are 'very happy together' and keen to find a place to call home.
