A well-known Manchester City hooligan has made a surprising admission about the club's toughest opponents – and it's not Manchester United or Liverpool.
In a candid interview, the hooligan, who has been involved in numerous clashes over the years, revealed that the most intense and violent encounters have been against an unexpected rival.
The Unexpected Rival
While most fans would assume Manchester United or Liverpool are City's fiercest rivals, the hooligan claimed that matches against Stoke City have been the most brutal.
"People don't expect it, but Stoke's firm is one of the hardest out there," he said. "Their fans don't back down, and the fights have been some of the worst I've seen."
Why Stoke?
The hooligan explained that the hostility stems from historical clashes and the aggressive nature of Stoke's supporters. "They're not afraid to mix it up, and their reputation is well-earned," he added.
He also mentioned that while matches against United and Liverpool are high-profile, the policing is much tighter, making large-scale violence harder to organise.
A Warning to Fans
The hooligan urged younger fans to avoid getting involved in football violence. "It's not worth it," he said. "The consequences are severe, and the game has changed."
His comments come as football authorities continue to crack down on hooliganism, with stricter bans and surveillance measures in place.
