Luke Littler, the teenage darts sensation, demonstrated his generosity by giving a portion of his £500,000 prize money to his brother Leon after winning the World Darts Championship in January. The 18-year-old world number one, who became the youngest ever winner of the sport's biggest prize, was seen kissing his brother on the head after the gesture, highlighting his commitment to family despite his rising fame.
Littler is now aiming for back-to-back titles at the 2025 World Darts Championship. He began his campaign with a straight-sets victory over Darius Labanauskas on opening night, followed by a three-set win against debutant David Davies. He faces Mensur Suljovic in the third round on Saturday evening at around 9:30pm.
The world number one has enjoyed a stellar 2025, winning multiple major honours including the UK Open, Belgian Darts Open, World Matchplay, Players Championship 32, and World Grand Prix. When asked about potentially breaking Phil Taylor's record of 16 world titles, Littler expressed confidence in his ability, stating: 'If I want the 16, then I am sure I could possibly achieve it. If deep down, if I really want it, then with my ability, I’m sure I can achieve a lot more.'
Littler added that he aims to win as many titles as possible this year, building on his 10 titles from last year. He said: 'I just want to try and win as many titles as I can this year. I won 10 last year. I’ve started the year off with one. But just try and add on to that 10. Maybe win 10, 11 or 12 or even more titles.'
