Luke Littler urges Man Utd to sign Tchouameni as Casemiro replacement
Littler urges Man Utd to sign Tchouameni for Casemiro role

Manchester United supporter and darts sensation Luke Littler has issued a clear transfer message to the club, urging them to sign Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as the ideal replacement for the departing Casemiro. The 19-year-old darts prodigy believes Tchouameni is the perfect candidate to fill the defensive midfield role at Old Trafford.

Littler's plea for Tchouameni

Speaking to SportsBoom, Littler said: "I'm sure you've seen some scrapping going on in Real Madrid and we're interested in Tchouameni. Come on Tchouameni, come on, replace Casemiro for that defensive midfielder spot." The comments come as Manchester United prepare for a major midfield overhaul ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Casemiro's departure and United's plans

Casemiro has been instrumental for United in recent weeks but will leave at the end of the current campaign. This leaves manager Michael Carrick, or any potential successor, in need of a high-quality replacement. Tchouameni has emerged as a primary target, with the club keen to secure his services during the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid turmoil

Real Madrid have confirmed they are launching disciplinary proceedings against both Tchouameni and teammate Federico Valverde following a reported training ground altercation. Valverde was hospitalised after hitting his head on a table during the dispute. In a statement, Valverde clarified: "Today we had another disagreement. During the argument, I accidentally hit a table, causing a small cut on my forehead that required a routine visit to the hospital. At no point did my team-mate hit me; I didn't hit him either."

Valverde will miss Real Madrid's crucial El Clasico clash against Barcelona on Sunday as he undergoes concussion protocols. A victory for Barcelona would clinch the La Liga title.

Littler's endorsement adds to the growing speculation surrounding Tchouameni's future, with Manchester United fans hopeful that the French international will be the marquee signing to bolster their midfield.
