England Captain Harry Kane Adds Luxury Sauna Suite to Surrey Mansion Bedroom
England skipper Harry Kane has transformed his bedroom into a high-end wellness retreat by installing a £10,000 infrared recovery sauna in his newly built £20 million country mansion located in the Home Counties. The Bayern Munich striker, aged 32, and his wife Kate, 33, now enjoy this plush addition as part of their expansive bedroom suite, which also features his-and-hers dressing rooms for ultimate convenience and luxury.
Infrared Sauna Technology Enhances Post-Workout Recovery
Unlike traditional saunas that rely on heating the air, infrared saunas utilise light waves to directly warm the body at lower, more comfortable temperatures typically ranging from 46 to 65 degrees Celsius. This innovative technology is increasingly popular among top athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane for its benefits in muscle recovery, pain relief, and detoxification, making it an ideal choice for post-training sessions.
Builders have recently completed the finishing touches on the Three Lions icon's neo-Georgian home in Surrey, where the sauna is just one of many lavish features. The property includes a lift connecting the basement to the top floor, along with a swimming pool, bar area, treatment room, and gym situated below ground level. Additionally, Kane has incorporated a golf simulator and a dedicated 'glam room' adjacent to the dressing rooms, showcasing his commitment to both fitness and leisure.
Extensive Renovation and Record-Breaking Football Form
The striker initially paid £6 million for a house on the site, which he demolished to construct this bespoke neo-Georgian residence, reflecting his investment in a personalised living space. This comes as Kane continues to excel on the football pitch, having just secured his second Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich after scoring in a 4-2 victory over Stuttgart over the weekend.
His goal, netted within five minutes of entering the second half, marked his 32nd league goal in 27 games this campaign, contributing to Bayern's record-breaking season for most goals scored. Kane has tallied an impressive 51 goals across all competitions for Bayern this season, with a total of 56 for club and country, highlighting his sensational form as he looks ahead to the upcoming World Cup in the United States.
World Cup Preparations and Team Base in Missouri
The England squad is set to base themselves at the Inn at Meadowbrook hotel and Swope Soccer Village near Kansas City in Missouri for the tournament, co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Football Association chiefs selected this central location to optimise travel and preparation, ensuring the team is well-positioned for success in the international competition.
