Erling Braut Haaland, the Salzburg striker, has sparked further speculation about a potential move to Liverpool after copying Mohamed Salah's iconic celebration. The 19-year-old Norwegian scored twice in a 3-2 Champions League defeat to Napoli on Wednesday, taking his season tally to 20 goals in 13 games.
After scoring, Haaland sat cross-legged on the pitch in a meditative pose, mirroring the celebration Salah used after scoring against Huddersfield Town in April. The gesture has been interpreted by some as a hint towards a transfer to Anfield, with reports suggesting Liverpool scouts were present to watch Haaland in action.
Haaland, son of former Manchester City midfielder Alf-Inge Haaland, has also been linked with Juventus and Manchester United. He previously scored against Liverpool in a 4-3 defeat earlier this month and will face the Reds again in the reverse fixture in December.
