Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight date and venue leaked for 2026

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua could finally settle their decade-long rivalry this year in a bout that fight fans have craved for years. Saudi Arabian boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh hinted an announcement is imminent, saying: 'Today we have a big surprise, I hope that we are going to announce the biggest fight in the history of England.'

Joshua and Fury are being lined up for their eagerly anticipated clash as part of Riyadh Season in 2026, with a September date in London under consideration. Wembley Stadium has been identified as the preferred venue, though reports suggest Croke Park in Dublin could be an alternative.

Before that, Joshua may have a warm-up fight this summer, with Deontay Wilder among the potential opponents. Promoter Eddie Hearn said: 'We are in active negotiations now with Turki Alalshikh... We plan to fight in July, then we want to fight Tyson Fury. Let's do Wilder then Fury.'

Fury, who fights Arslanbek Makhmudov on Saturday, said: 'I don't want to mention names when I've got a dangerous fighter in front of me... As far as I am concerned, I will focus on this big Russian fella, then Anthony Joshua and maybe a third fight with Oleksandr Usyk.'
