Barcelona escaped with a 3-3 draw at Club Brugge after a dramatic Champions League encounter, with a late Brugge goal ruled out by VAR. English referee Anthony Taylor disallowed Romeo Vermant's stoppage-time effort for a foul on Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
The hosts took an early lead through Nicolò Tresoldi in the sixth minute, but Ferran Torres equalised two minutes later. Carlos Forbs restored Brugge's lead in the 17th minute with a counter-attack. Szczesny made a stunning save early in the second half to deny Joaquin Seys, before Lamine Yamal levelled with a brilliant individual goal in the 61st minute.
Brugge regained the lead two minutes later through Forbs, who chipped Szczesny after another counter. Barcelona equalised in the 77th minute when Seys headed into his own net from Yamal's cross. Vermant thought he had won it in stoppage time, but VAR ruled it out for a foul on Szczesny.
Inter Milan maintained their perfect record with a 2-1 win over Kairat Almaty. Lautaro Martínez put Inter ahead just before half-time, but Ofri Arad equalised for the Kazakh side. Carlos Augusto scored the winner in the 67th minute, keeping Inter third in the table with 12 points.
Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick as Galatasaray beat Ajax 3-0 in Amsterdam. Pafos claimed their first Champions League win with a 1-0 victory over Villarreal, Derrick Luckassen scoring the only goal. Bayer Leverkusen won 1-0 at Benfica through Patrik Schick, and Atalanta beat Marseille 1-0 with a stoppage-time goal from Lazar Samardzic.
