Kimi Antonelli enters the Canadian Grand Prix with momentum after securing his third consecutive victory in Miami. The 19-year-old Italian now holds a 20-point lead over Mercedes teammate George Russell. Russell, who won this race last year, will be aiming to close the gap. McLaren showed strong form in Miami, with reigning world champion Lando Norris finishing second and Oscar Piastri third. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen qualified on the front row in an improved car. Ferrari had a more challenging weekend, as Charles Leclerc received post-race penalties and Lewis Hamilton finished sixth. Hamilton, a seven-time winner in Canada, won his first-ever F1 race at this circuit in 2007.
