Ransom Canyon Season 2 on Netflix follows Quinn O'Grady (Minka Kelly) as she returns from New York with musician Oliver (Ben Robson), who proposes. Quinn remains conflicted about her feelings for Staten (Josh Duhamel).
Quinn and Oliver Break Up
Oliver tries to get to know Staten but realizes Quinn is not committed. He leaves for New York before she can decide, acknowledging he is not the man for her.
Staten and Quinn Finally Get Together
Staten tricks Quinn into spending the night by sabotaging her car, but she is furious when she discovers the truth. He later reveals he once wrote her a letter confessing his love, which never reached her. Quinn learns from her mother that she intercepted the letter years ago to protect Quinn's dreams. Her mother encourages Quinn to pursue Staten. Quinn meets Staten at a secluded barn, where they kiss and become an unofficial couple.
Sidney, Ellie, and Yancy Storyline
Sidney (Heidi Grace Engerman) pushes pregnant Ellie (Marianly Tejada) off a porch after being double-crossed by Yancy (Jack Schumacher) in an oil scheme. Ellie and the baby survive, but Ellie refuses Yancy access to the baby. Sidney disappears, and police cannot find her.
