Arsenal's midweek trip to Molineux Stadium ended in frustration as they surrendered a two-goal advantage to draw 2-2 with Wolverhampton Wanderers, who currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table. This result has significantly altered the dynamics of the title race, handing the initiative to defending champions Manchester City.
If Pep Guardiola's side manage to win all of their remaining twelve fixtures, including a highly anticipated clash against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium in April, they will secure another league championship. Despite this setback, Arsenal remain five points clear at the summit, although they have played one game more than their closest competitors.
Arteta Dismisses 'Bottlers' Accusations

If we all have an individual book, I don't know what your book would say and what you had predicted three, five, seven, eight months ago? It would be very interesting to go through and understand what you predicted and how you saw the season going."
He continued: "We have a very clear instruction. We have to live in the present and the present is beautiful. We are exactly where we want to be in every competition. So, keeping calm, keeping my eyes open, my ears open, and understanding what the players need to give their best."
Arsenal's Strong Position Across All Competitions
Despite the recent dip in league form, Arsenal's overall campaign remains highly impressive. The team has qualified for the Carabao Cup final next month and progressed to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League after winning all eight of their group matches. They are also strong favourites to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals, with a fifth-round tie against Mansfield Town scheduled for March.
Arteta highlighted the positive reaction from his players following the disappointing result at Wolves: "What I've seen is a tremendous reaction. And I'm not surprised at all. When you lose points in the last kick of the game in a very unpredictable manner, because to predict a team with a 0.02 XG is going to score, nobody can really understand that. But this is football, that's the beauty of it."
He added: "The instant reaction is pain, it was a shock to the system, and after that it's: 'Okay, what can I do about it?' That was chapter 27. And what I'm very interested in is the next chapter, what we are made of, and how we write our own destiny from here going forward."

Captain Martin Odegaard and midfielder Kai Havertz were both absent through injury during the match at Molineux, but Arteta provided an optimistic update regarding their availability for the upcoming derby. "We have to wait until tomorrow but there is a big possibility that they are available," he concluded, offering hope that two key players could return to face Igor Tudor's Tottenham side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
