Andy Carroll's Festive Instagram Post Amidst Legal Charge for Breaching Order
Andy Carroll shares Christmas pics after legal charge

Former Premier League footballer Andy Carroll has offered a glimpse into his family Christmas on social media, just weeks after facing a serious legal charge. The 36-year-old striker, who played for Newcastle United and Liverpool, posted a series of festive pictures with his girlfriend, make-up artist Lou Teasdale, 42.

Instagram Snaps Show Festive Cheer

The upload to Instagram on Saturday presented a picture of domestic bliss, starkly contrasting with the player's recent legal troubles. In one photograph, Carroll and Teasdale are seen snuggled next to a Christmas tree, wearing paper crowns and Santa hats. Lou sported an Adidas Originals top, while Andy wore a green knit T-shirt.

Other images from the collection showed the couple watching a football match, with Lou enjoying a king-sized Pot Noodle. Further snaps captured a playful moment in a supermarket photo booth and the pair huddled around the table for Christmas dinner with family.

Background of Legal Proceedings

The festive post came after news emerged that Carroll had been charged with breaching a non-molestation order. The former England international was arrested on April 27 at Stansted Airport shortly after landing from France. Essex Police confirmed the charge, stating the alleged offences related to an incident in March.

A source told The Sun at the time that his arrest at passport control "caused quite a kerfuffle" among other passengers. Carroll, who lives in Epping, is scheduled to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on December 30 in relation to the charge.

Personal Life and Career Moves

Carroll's relationship with Lou Teasdale became public in late 2023, shortly after his separation from his estranged wife, former TOWIE star Billi Mucklow, 37. The couple reportedly met at Glastonbury in June 2023, and divorce proceedings from Mucklow began this September.

On the pitch, Carroll, who earned nine caps for England between 2010 and 2012, is currently playing for National League South side Dagenham and Redbridge. He joined the non-league club this summer after spells with French clubs Amiens SC and Bordeaux.

The Instagram post, showcasing a seemingly untroubled Christmas, has drawn significant public attention as his court date approaches.
