Megyn Kelly Unleashes Fury on Lindsey Graham Over Iran War Advocacy

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly has launched a blistering attack on Senator Lindsey Graham, branding him a "homicidal maniac" and comparing his media appearances to a "Playboy bunny in stockings" as he campaigns for military action against Iran. The former Fox News anchor directed her fury at the South Carolina Republican in a series of incendiary social media posts this week, emerging as one of the most vocal critics of the conflict from within Donald Trump's political base.

'Parading Around Like a Hefner Bunny'

In her most colorful criticism, Kelly accused Graham of "parading around" Fox News to drum up support for war with Iran, suggesting he was being displayed "like a Hefner bunny in stockings on every show." She argued the real problem wasn't just Graham's hawkish positions, but that "Trump likes and is listening to him" while the president's favorite channel gives him extensive airtime.

"Let's get real," Kelly wrote on X. "The problem with Lindsay [sic] Graham isn't (just) that he's a homicidal maniac, it's that Trump likes and is listening to him, and Trump's favorite channel is parading him around like a Hefner bunny in stockings on every show."

Graham's Unwavering Support for Israel

Kelly shared clips of Graham appearing on her former network, including one where the senator proclaimed he is "with Israel until my dying day." Graham directed those remarks "to all the anti-Semites and isolationists," telling them: "I'm not with you, I'm with Israel."

In response, Kelly wrote: "Attention South Carolinians with doubts about the Iran war: your U.S. Senator says explicitly 'I'm not with you, I'm with Israel.'" This highlighted what she sees as Graham prioritizing foreign interests over those of his constituents.

Expansionist Rhetoric Draws Fire

The commentator also slammed Graham for his increasingly hawkish foreign policy positions in recent days, which have seen him threaten to deploy American military might against multiple nations. Graham has suggested targeting not just Iran, but also Cuba, Lebanon, and even Spain in his recent statements.

"When did Lindsey Graham become our president?" Kelly questioned after sharing a clip of Graham's remarks about Spain. "In the past 24 hours he's threatened Lebanon, Cuba, the Saudis, the wider Arab region and now – checks notes – Spain."

Graham's animosity toward Spain emerged after the European nation refused to allow U.S. forces to use Spanish military bases for strikes against Iran, prompting Trump to threaten cutting off all trade with the country. During a Fox News appearance, Graham told Spain it had "lost its way" and declared: "I don't want to do business with you anymore."

Kelly Urges Trump to Distance Himself

On her show, Kelly urged President Trump to distance himself from Graham, warning that the senator's extreme positions threaten to erode Trump's political support ahead of crucial midterm elections. Graham, a one-time presidential candidate in 2016, has emerged as one of Trump's closest advisors on the Iran conflict, steering the president away from the isolationist policies he championed during his 2024 campaign.

"This guy is a homicidal maniac with a bloodlust that is insatiable," Kelly said, citing reports that Graham urged Trump to expand the war into Lebanon this week. "He got us into the Iranian war, now he wants us to get involved in a Lebanese war and he wants us to go into Cuba. This guy should be nowhere near President Trump. He should not be allowed 20 feet of the President's orbit."

Trump's Response to Kelly's Criticism

Kelly maintains that she remains a Trump supporter but has become increasingly critical of his administration's approach to Iran. After six U.S. servicemen were killed in an Iranian strike on an American base in Kuwait, Kelly used her platform to question whether Trump was being "dragged into" a Middle Eastern conflict against his campaign promises.

She questioned whether American soldiers were losing their lives "for Iran or Israel," prompting a sharp response from the president. Trump told The Inner Circle that Kelly "should study her history book a little bit" and explained his position: "I guess she maybe doesn't like the idea of this war, but I do because I have to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of the Iranians. I have to do what's right, number one and you can't have Iran getting a nuclear weapon. That's predominant to me."

The president added: "Megyn was opposed to me for years when I ran the first time and nothing stopped me. And so, you know, some people are against - and they always come back. She came all the way back."

The Daily Mail has contacted Senator Graham's office for response to Kelly's comments, but no statement has been issued at this time.
