Wynne Evans Returns to Radio as Fresh Evidence Emerges in Strictly Scandal

Wynne Evans is set to return to his BBC radio show after being axed from the Strictly Come Dancing live tour following allegations of inappropriate behaviour. The Welsh opera star has compiled a dossier of evidence, including a full-length video that experts claim could prove his innocence.

The controversy began when a video emerged of Evans allegedly making a crude remark towards Strictly professional Janette Manrara during a photocall for the live tour. However, a source told The Sun that cyber forensics analysis revealed Evans was actually addressing EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, saying “old spitroast boy” – a reference to Borthwick’s flexibility, not a sexual comment about Manrara.

Evans was also accused of groping his dance partner Katya Jones, who has consistently defended him, describing him as “incredible” in a recent interview. Janette Manrara has reportedly reached out to Evans, insisting he need not worry about her. The BBC is expected to make a decision on Evans’ future later this month.

Despite losing his long-standing GoCompare advert deal, Evans has vowed to fight his axing, insisting “truth wins”. He is reportedly seeking recompense for the consequences of the scandal. The Mirror has approached Evans’ representative, while Strictly Come Dancing declined to comment.
