Kendall Jenner has confirmed she has a nipple piercing, revealing she got it done during a rebellious phase. The 19-year-old model spoke to Page Six at the launch of Estee Lauder's Modern Muse Rouge perfume in New York, explaining her decision.
“I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like ‘Let’s just do it,’” she said. Jenner admitted she was terrified before the procedure, but found the pain less severe than expected.
The revelation comes after her appearance at the Harper's Bazaar Icons event in New York last Wednesday, where the piercing was visible under a clingy white dress. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had previously been reported by TMZ in July to have had the piercing, which she had been trying to hide.
Jenner is not the first in her family to have body hardware; her younger sister Kylie has also hinted at a nipple piercing earlier this year. Older sister Kim Kardashian has previously compared tattoos to “putting a bumper sticker on a Bentley,” suggesting she may not approve.
