Walkers Axes Crinkles Crisps Again, Disappointing Fans

Crisps giant Walkers has confirmed it has axed its popular Crinkles range for the second time in four years, leaving fans disappointed. The company first ceased production of the crinkle-cut crisps in 2022 before reintroducing them two years later. However, production has now been halted again, and the product is no longer available.

What Were Walkers Crinkles?

Walkers described Crinkles as having a perfect crinkle cut with a salted flavouring, offering “more flavour in every ridge.” The crisps were sold in multipacks and received rave reviews from customers. One shopper gave them a maximum five stars, calling them “simply brilliant” and adding: “I regularly buy these Walkers Crinkle crisps and one bag is never enough, great flavour and taste and not hard or sharp.” Another fan wrote: “These crisps are incredibly crunchy with a thicker cut and crinkled texture, which gives them an extra satisfying bite. The simple salted flavour is just right—not too overwhelming but enough to keep you reaching for more.”

Walkers Confirms Discontinuation

The PepsiCo-owned brand told one disappointed fan: “Sadly our Walkers Crinkles range stopped being produced in Feb 2026.” A search on supermarket websites confirmed that Crinkles were no longer being stocked in multipacks. It remains to be seen whether Walkers will take on board feedback from fans and reintroduce the product at a later stage.

Mixed Response to Recent Flavour Revivals

In February 2026, Walkers revived two flavours of crisps, but the response was mixed. The brand brought back Chilli and Cocoa Sensations, alongside Slow-Roasted Lamb and Mint Sauce flavour, both as limited editions. One unhappy customer wrote: “Not as good as back when Walkers did these. The pack I have just tastes like chocolate and no chilli.” Another added: “So they discontinued Snaps after 40 odd years and bring back these disgusting for me flavours Lol.”
