If you can't wait for the World Cup to kick off, then you might want to fire up EA Sports FC 26 in the next few days and get stuck into the brand new international tournament mode.
The unofficial World Cup mode (titled World's Game) was recently added to the game as part of a big end of season update. However, the actual international tournament mode isn't available to play until 6pm BST UK time on the afternoon of June 4.
If it's been a while since you've played EA Sports FC 26, then you can access the new content by downloading and installing the update.
Once the World Cup mode goes live, then you can play as one of 53 officially-licensed international teams, including 41 of the teams that qualified for the actual World Cup. This includes teams like England, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Belgium, Ghana and Scotland, as well as teams that didn't qualify such as Wales, Republic of Ireland, Italy and Northern Ireland.
The mixture of qualified and other famous international teams means you can create your own tournaments and storylines, which will play out in new stadiums such as Gillette Stadium and BMO Field.
It's worth pointing out that playing the game from June 5 until July 24 unlocks the 93 OVR Festival of Football ICON Pele and three Choose Your Journey Evolutions.
