Joe Rogan Questions Trump's Iran War Strategy Again

Podcaster Joe Rogan has once again questioned President Donald Trump's strategy in Iran, just days after the two appeared together in the Oval Office. On Thursday's episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan suggested the timing of the administration's military action in Iran “doesn’t make sense.”

“People have wanted people out of Iran, the people that are running Iran, for 47 years, but no one has actually gone and done it the way this administration did it,” Rogan said. “And it doesn’t make sense they chose to do it when they did.” He questioned the decision to re-enter Iran after a bunker buster bomb was used to disable a nuclear facility.

Rogan, who endorsed Trump in 2024 but has grown increasingly critical, also speculated on Israel's role: “But, you know, why did we do it? I don't know. I think because of Israel, if I had to guess.” Trump has denied this, writing on Truth Social that the war was driven by his long-standing view that Iran must never have a nuclear weapon.

The president has not provided a clear timeline for the conflict, which began on February 28. When asked by reporters, Trump compared it to previous US wars, saying, “I’ve been doing this for six weeks, and their military is totally defeated.” He added that he could not answer further because Iran has “all new leadership, and they’re fighting like cats and dogs.”
